The sealing surfaces are machined and ground with strict tolerances. Before installation, the ball and seats are inspected for cracks. Coating hardness varies depending on the selected coating. Our oversized balls ensure sealing even when the actuator is misaligned, and provide a method for radiusing the ball edges to extend coating life.
